Northeast High School Bond Project

Northeast Early College High School and International High School are undergoing a major campus modernization as part of Austin ISD's 2022 Bond Program. This multi-phase investment will transform the shared campus with modern learning spaces, enhanced safety features, upgraded infrastructure, and expanded facilities for students and the surrounding community.

Planned improvements include:
New academic and administration buildings
A community and mental health center
Modernized classrooms and collaborative learning spaces
Upgraded athletic facilities, including a new turf field and locker rooms
Enhanced campus safety and security
Improvements to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and roofing

Construction is expected to continue through the coming years, with the first phase anticipated to open in spring 2028. As work progresses, neighbors may notice increased construction activity and occasional traffic impacts around the campus.
